Dr Dawn Yip graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Driven by her passion for orthodontics, she went on to pursue a three-year, full-time specialist postgraduate programme at King’s College London, where she obtained her Master of Science (MSc) in Orthodontics with distinction.

She was awarded the Philip Walther Prize for achieving the highest overall examination score in the MSc in Orthodontics programme.

Dr Dawn finds the greatest joy in making each patient’s journey towards their ideal smile as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Her warm and gentle nature helps patients feel at ease sharing their goals and concerns with her.

She takes the time to ensure that patients are involved in their treatment decisions and understand what to expect at every stage of their orthodontic journey. Her dedication to patient care was recognised during her time at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), where she received the NDCS Service with extra Mile (Smile) Award and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award.

A firm believer in evidence-based orthodontic care, Dr Dawn combines the best available scientific research with clinical expertise to tailor treatment to each patient’s individual needs and goals. She is committed to helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment and achieve healthy, confident smiles.

She has also published several research articles in dental journals and presented her work at the European Orthodontic Society Congress in Kraków, Poland.

Outside the clinic, Dr Dawn enjoys keeping active at the gym, unwinding with a good book, or baking a cake to celebrate a loved one’s birthday!
